Interesting views on desert habitations, people and the rubbish, which when I've been out in this environment in Pakistan, Algeria, Morocco and Libya have all been similar despite the decades and distances apart indicating that they don't perceive it to be a problem or not motivated to doing something about it. Libya seemed to be the tidiest but that was months before the revolution and I would imagine that they will now have other more important things on their minds than disposing of their rubbish. Good article but the camel is the best way of travel out here in the desert! ;o) Martin
